An Evolution Store for 7-Eleven has been announced for Dallas-Fort Worth, the company’s fifth in the region and its ninth in the nation overall. In addition to Laredo Taco Company®, a popular south Texas restaurant concept known for its authentic flavors of the Texas-Mexico borderlands, this new location in Dallas offers customizable beverage options, a premium cigar humidor, and the latest digital innovations.

Fresh-made flour tortillas and a salsa bar stocked with various salsas and garnishes, including red, green, creamy cilantro, and hot, set Laredo Taco Company apart from the competition. Authentic fajitas, chorizo, carne asada, carnitas, and fresh-cracked egg breakfast tacos are among the menu’s highlights. Laredo Taco Company’s new location has a large covered patio for customers who prefer to dine outside and enjoy frozen margaritas or beer on tap.

VP of Store Evolution and Design Molly Long said that the 7-Eleven Evolution Store in Dallas would feature an assortment of curated products, services, and features tailored to the neighborhood and customers we serve. They are eager to show it off to the public. The convenience of 7-Eleven is paired with a delicious restaurant-quality dining option and unique and innovative beverages that the customer expects from 7-Eleven. Lab stores allow the brand to test, learn and scale successes into new store standards to improve customer experience.

A second self-serve espresso machine in this store will allow 7-Eleven customers to experiment with various specialty drinks, such as Cold Foam, Caramel Macchiato, Dirty Chai (a Chai Tea Latte with a double espresso shot), White Mocha, and Horchata Latte, among others. In addition to espresso and cold brew coffee, customers can enjoy organic smoothies and shakes, vitamin-infused sparkling water, and even a Wine Cellar with a broader and more varied selection of wine and customized drinks. 7-Eleven’s iconic products like Slurpee® drinks, Big Bite® hot dogs, and Big Gulp® fountain beverages are available alongside these innovations.

Dallas’ 13635 Preston Road store also offers various digital innovations, such as mobile checkout and delivery, to make shopping even more convenient for customers. In-store customers can bypass the checkout line and pay for their purchases directly from their phones thanks to the 7Rewards® loyalty programme found in the 7-Eleven app. There are more than 3,000 items that can be ordered through the 7NOW® delivery app, including food and beverage items and grocery and household goods.

As a benchmark for convenience retail, 7-Eleven’s Evolution Store concept serves as an experiential testing ground for customers to experience and experiment with the brand’s latest product innovations. In addition, no two Evolution Stores are the same because the retailer is constantly tweaking its design and product mix in response to customer feedback and shopping habits.

Dallas-Fort Worth’s new jobs result from the retailer’s expansion in the area. Each 7-Eleven® store in the United States employs between 10 and 12 people, both full-time and part-time. Visit careers.7-eleven.com or ask at the 7-Eleven in your area for more information about available positions.
