She greatly attributes her career success to her father. Her father also has franchising experience and mentored her at the beginning of her career to developing essential business skills, like marketing, sales, customer service, business financials, and employee leadership.

Leslie Kuban at FranNet completed her schooling at Walton High School in Marietta, then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University while specializing in Communications; along with the graduation, she also earned an additional certification in Communication and Psychology as a part of Vanderbilt University Study Abroad Program from Leeds Beckett University. She also holds a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) certificate from the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE).
