From a marketing representative to leading Neighbourly as the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Brad Stevenson spearheads franchise growth and development for Neighborly’s 13 North American franchise brands. His duties were previously overseen by Neighborly’s Executive Vice President Robert Tunmire, who retired after 44 years of rich franchise growth and development legacy setting a high benchmark for Stevenson to accomplish.

The position of Executive Vice President is now Chief Development Officer that succinctly outlines the responsibilities Brad Stevenson manages for Neighbourly. The decision came from Mike Bidwell, President and CEO of Neighborly. He adds how Brad Stevenson, with 23 years of experience as an accomplished executive, lives up to the expectation and demands of Neighborly’s franchise development vision. Brand joined Neighbourly in 2019, and so far, with his intelligence, he’s thriving Neighbourly.

Before joining Neighbourly, Brad Stevenson worked with MillerCoors and Miller Brewing Company for over a decade. He began his career with MillerCoors in 1996 as an On-Premise Miller Marketing Representative for United Beverage in Houston, Texas. Since then, Stevenson held numerous sales and marketing positions with the adult beverage industry leader throughout his career, including roles as Vice President of Grocery, Director of Business Development and Strategy, and Regional Chain Director.

When Brad Stevenson joined Neighborly, he observed Neighborly as an ideal example of franchising excellence. The organization was poised for growth while maintaining high service standards across its many brands. Despite holding the title of the world’s largest franchisor of home service brands under its belt, Neighborly was bullish with a team of prolific professionals ready to go any mile to achieve those goals through franchise development. Some of the verticals Brad Stevenson and the team manage 14 consumer service verticals of Neighborly including restoration and cleaning; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical; Appliance Repair; Glass replacement and repair for properties and automobiles; Lawn care and landscaping; Interior and exterior painting; Repair, maintenance and improvement; House cleaning; Window cleaning and tinting; Leak detection; Property management; and Mosquito control.

Stevenson graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. It seems that his subject, Kinesiology, which is the scientific study of human body movement, gave him clear insights into the stable dynamics of loyalty and leadership. His sense of commitment to a business partnership is reflected in his tenure with the businesses he nurtured for growth. This is also a vital lesson in franchise growth; you have to stick to it long enough to establish results.
