Based in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, Jamie Lavigne, CFE, is a Franchise Development Manager at Woofie’s, an upscale professional pet service franchise brand, since February 2022. Jamie started her career in the 2000s as an Inbound call center executive outperforming sales in high close ratio, upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.

Around 2007, Jamie Lavigne, CFE, joined Franchise.com Network. She worked as a Client Consultant for online lead generation for franchises and business opportunities. As the youngest salesperson of almost four years, she mostly worked with the new franchisors managing expectations and educating them on the sales process.

After a 5-year stint at Franchise Solutions, Jamie joined Franchise Business Review. As a client consultant, she helped Franchisors benchmark and strengthen their brands, helping interested franchise buyers identify quality franchises to invest in by making the process easier to connect with franchisees and find reliable satisfaction information.

Later, she worked with Driven Brands, Inc., the largest automotive services company in North America, providing a range of consumer and commercial automotive needs, including paint, collision, glass, vehicle repair, oil change, maintenance and car wash. As a Franchise Development Specialist, she managed the Northeast Region.

Jamie Lavigne, CFE, spent considerable time at New England Franchise Association as a Board Member and Vice President. At Homewatch CareGivers, a pioneer in the industry dedicated to premier home care excellence, and Authority Brands, Jamie works as its Franchise Development Manager for several years now while maintaining her position with Woofie’s.

With a degree in Art Education from the University of New Hampshire, Jamie earned her CFE certification from ICFE in 2012-2014. It is rare yet inspiring to learn how her interest in sales trumped her education in Art while still in school. Jamie’s sales career started by selling diamonds, which was a blast. Gradually, her work-life kicked off in the call center and then residential/commercial mortgages.

When in 2007, Jamie started in the franchise industry, she was confident to never look back. As a hardworking person, she strategically managed two jobs to expedite her learning curve. While working in one company, she learned about the industry she pushed the limits to work with another to understand the operational side of franchising.

Jamie Lavigne, CFE, carries a certain aura about her in her social interaction on Linkedin. She says that “I was then recruited to franchise sales. Why didn’t I do this a long time ago? I love the fast pace, the education piece, and, yes, the travel. Working from home is the best too.” When she says, “My dog doesn’t tell me I’m too loud!” she reveals her sense of intelligent humor.

Anyone aspiring to make it big in the franchise industry can emulate Jamie’s professional outlook. Her focus on building relationships with prospects interested in learning about franchising contributes to a sustainable and rewarding relationship in the long term.
